In motion

All contents reprinted from elsewhere without permission.

Monday greetings,

Hope you had a good weekend. Well it's been a while since the web stop-motion video craze died down, perhaps due to videocams being built into every device from phones to toothbrushes. But this is a blast of visually innovative fresh air for the genre that is well worth the two minutes.

Kruger ran
From the animals-eating-animals channel, behold this battle between a pride of lions, a herd of buffalo, and two crocodiles at a watering hole in South Africa's Kruger National Park while on safari. Looks like more people watched this fight than the last Mayweather - De La Hoya bout. (Thanks Valerie)

Techno chicken
And from the lighter side of mother nature, a piece that isn't entitled "Go Cluck Yourself" (but I suppose could be). Amusing in a non-KFC kind of way.

non-Newtonian goo
Who needs sophisticated claymation or CGI? This cornstarch, water and bass video proves conclusive awesomeness of physics. (Thanks Joe)

And Now, the Actual Speech
Comedian Patton Oswalt's speech to the graduating class of his old high school. Not the shortest, but a good, funny, thoughtful dose of the written word.

Armor all
Canadian artist Jeff de Boer fabricates armor for both cats and mice in plate, mail and samurai flavors. Look for inter-species jousting in the upcoming Olympic Games.

And-a one...
Drag the instruments onto the stage and build your very own one man band.

Wife Test
And finally, in the good old days, wives were rated on their domesticity. See how you, or your wife, would score. And if she scores badly then sack her. Now, WHERE'S MY @#$%# DINNER?!?
