The tree is up and it's...good

AJUK wrote in with good news: "It took all weekend, but I finally got the tree up." I'll bet Santa's going to hit his house early (and often).

PSA: Putting the "green" in your Christmas tree
Instead of buying a tree, these nice folks will let you rent one. They bring a potted tree to your house, and after Christmas they pick it up and plant it in areas that were destroyed by the recent San Diego county fires. Seems like one of those dreaded "win-win" situations.

Eyegas, a man with leguminous/festive proclivities is back with a sort of sequel to his 2005 opus, "Attack of the Sprouts". Eat as many sprouts as you can, while venting wind to avoid a nasty explosion.
