There's nothing subliminal about this message
Throughout history, many great scientific minds have worked to unravel the male psyche. Freud and his ilk devoted entire lifetimes to understanding what goes on inside the mind of the common man... yet with one fell swoop, this commercial spoof has captured the very essence of the male attention span.

Greatest Works of Reverse Graffiti
And finally, check out these artworks that the blogger describes thusly: "Welcome to the world of reverse graffiti, where the artist's weapons are cleaning materials and where the enemy is the elements: wind, rain, pollution and decay. It's an art form that removes dust or dirt rather than adding paint. Some find it intriguing, beguiling, beautiful and imaginative, whereas others look upon it in much the same way as traditional graffiti – a complete lack of respect for the law. Reverse graffiti challenges ideals and perceptions while at the same time shapes and changes the environment in which we live, whether people think for the better, or not." Or as I call it, dirt painting.

Bubba and the revival

(Thanks RASRIC)
-----

Bubba goes to the revival and listens to the preacher.

After awhile the preacher asks anyone with needs to be prayed over to come forward to the front at the altar.

Bubba gets in line, and when it's his turn the preacher asks, "Bubba, what do you want me to pray about for you?"

Bubba replies, "Preacher, I need you to pray for my hearing."

The preacher puts one finger in Bubba's ear, and he places the other hand on top of Bubba's head and prays and prays.

After a few minutes, the preacher removes his hands, stands back and asks, "Bubba, how is your hearing now?"

Bubba says, "I don't know, Reverend, it ain't until next Wednesday."

Bear Hunting in Alaska

The Pope took a couple of days off to visit the rugged mountains of Alaska for some sightseeing. He was cruising along the campground in the PopeMobile when there was a frantic commotion just at the edge of the woods. A helpless Democrat, wearing sandals, shorts, a 'Save the Whales' hat and a 'To Hell with Bush' T-shirt, was screaming while struggling frantically and thrashing around trying to free himself from the grasp of a 10-foot grizzly.

As the Pope watched in horror, a group of Republican loggers came racing up. One quickly fired a 44 magnum into the bear's chest. The other two reached up and pulled the bleeding, semiconscious Democrat from the bear's grasp. Then, using long clubs, the three loggers finished off the bear, and two of them threw i t onto the bed of their truck while the other tenderly placed the injured Democrat in the back seat.

As they prepared to leave, the Pope summoned them to come over. 'I give you my blessing for your brave actions!' he told them. 'I heard there was a bitter hatred between Republican loggers and Democratic environmental activists, but now I've seen with my own eyes that this is not true.'

As the Pope drove off, one logger asked his buddies 'Who was that guy?'

'It was the Pope,' another replied. 'He's in direct contact with Heaven and has access to all wisdom.'

'Well,' the logger said, 'he may have access to all wisdom but he doesn't know squat about bear hunting! By the way, is the bait still alive, or do we need to go back to Massachusetts and get another one?'

Happy Monday,

Hope you had a good weekend. Well the Summer Olympics is fast approaching and it's going to be an interesting one. For instance, check out the "official song" of the Games. (Caution: moderate xenophobia; political incorrectness)

Shalom,

An interesting view of life
Four minutes of deep serious thinking in this impactful slideshow of sorts. This guy's got something going here, though I'm not sure what. But I did enjoy it, and it did make me think about stuff for a few minutes, as well as reach for another beer.

On the sly
And finally, you know those times when you call somebody but you really just want to leave voicemail? Like if you go to Las Vegas and blow $5,000 the first night at the roulette table and need to call the wife and tell her why she should hold off on making the monthly mortgage payment. Her voicemail will be much more understanding then she will. Or if Aunt June sent you a sweater for your birthday and you need to call to thank her but you don't want to listen to her go on and on about her recent hip replacement. Slydial is for those times.

Top 'o the afternoon,

Hope you had a good weekend. The Daily Tube says, "Ben Schwartz rocks the interview process. He could talk his way into a world-class law firm before attending law school. He could talk his way onto the Green Bay Packers. He talks so good, magical trumpets accompany him..." All not true, and for some reason I thought this amused me.

Happy Fried-day,

"I'm not here to make friends"
Well if you don't believe it after watching this, apparently people don't go on reality shows to make friends. Someone has watched a mind-bending amount of reality TV to cull together all the retards making their game plan clear.
