Ocean, the final frontier

Ocean Finance ad remix
It appears that shoddy daytime TV ads in the UK can create something of a cult following among their few viewers who are not elderly, infirm or stupid. Here, debt consolidation agency Ocean gets its cheapo campaign revoiced by original Star Trek characters. Might only be enjoyable to those already partial to James T. and the gang, but explain why we have to suffer with things even more lame here in the US?

Auto-penance
Ah, technology...the more we try to make it work for us, the more it seems to work us. (Thanks Remy)

Looking for something to do with your hands? Try pen-spinning (with the bonus of a soundtrack featuring what sounds like the Japanese version of Yngwie Malmsteen). Or learn some of the Top 30 Magic Tricks of all time. Or clap really fast. Too vigorous? Take a purr break.

Treelimbinary
Christmas is over, but it's never too early to start assembling next year's tree. You could go with the Mountain Dew Christmas Tree (approx. three months to finish 400 cans and then four days to build it), or with the "ultimate Christmas project", the Beer Tree (over a thousand stubbies, which is getting on 500 pints). Spend a minute and check the time-lapse construction video (doesn’t include the part where he empties the bottles).
