Sticktoitiveness

Pole-y moley
Hope you had a good weekend, and enjoyed some NFL playoffs action if you are so inclined. Playoff football is another world in its intensity and quality of play, and you can really appreciate the talent it takes to play at that level. In other amazing feats of physical prowess taking place on other continents, check out this impressive as hell footage of an acrobat at Nile High Camp in Uganda. Cirque de Soleil's got nothing on this guy...

David Lynch Touts the iPhone
Well, not exactly. But the brilliant director does take half a minute out of his busy day to share his (quite clear) thoughts on the iPhone, and on viewing movies thereon. This 30-second rant might just make more sense than most of the movies Lynch has directed.

"A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities and an optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties." - Harry Truman

"Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute." - Gil Stern

Quick pic:

Game to please: Cooperate with yourself to reach the top. A bit tricky at first but a clever idea.

Rules of Thumb
Every rule of thumb on earth in one place. Great idea, although due to the wisdumb of the crowds, not all of these are actually rules of thumb. Interesting nonetheless.
