Swingsationalist media

Swing News
The exciting presidential election race has got me spending a little more time watching news of late, and boy does it suck sometimes. Wouldn’t it be a great change of pace if the news actually was presented as an upbeat jam session like this?

Bird Shuts Up the Media
Also from the media front...birds can't tell you off, but they can be effective. A Canadian Brown Finch gets revenge while this reporter talks crap about him and his relatives overpopulating this town. It looks like their local weatherman should have predicted a sh*tstorm.

Pick up the phone, it's Ahnold
The campaign trail -- it can be a grueling, cold, and humorless place. What better way to brighten the day than with a supportive call from the Gubernator himself? At least that's what Matt Romney, son of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, thought when he decided to play a practical joke on his father. Or likely just a clever viral campaigning trick. All done? Now, back to your regularly scheduled sandwich.

Bear-ly recognizable
Speaking of mutants...so this clever artist fella got the idea of turning teddy bears inside out and re-stuffing them, which makes for an interesting effect: "These bears, which have lived and loved and lost as much as their owners, have suffered and endured through it all. It is by virtue of revealing their inner core might we better understand our own." Also available in book form.

Re-enacting Garfield
And finally...art project or the work of the truly insane -- who can fathom these live action reenactments of the Garfield cartoon strip? Totally bizarre, actually, and really drives home the point that Garfield is NOT funny.
